ACCA - The global body for professional accountants

Becoming an ACCA-qualified accountant does not just involve passing your exams and completing an ethics module, you also need to complete practical experience. It helps you to demonstrate to potential employers that you can apply your knowledge to the workplace and have practical skills.

You can gain your practical experience before, during or after you complete your exams, but at the same time is preferable.

Please see the links in the Related links list in the top left-hand corner of the page for further details on the Practical Experience Requirement for the ACCA Qualification, and the Foundations in Practical Experience Requirement, which must be taken as part of the Certified Accounting Technician qualification.
